OBJECTIVE

Leaders’ attendance is one of the main concerns of WeVysya. To ensure sufficient attendance in the meetings and events, the organization sets out guidelines for properly managing absenteeism so that productivity will not be affected. This Attendance Policy ("Policy") is to manage and track attendance and tardiness of all leaders of the organization to enhance productivity, promote efficiency, and reduce unnecessary absenteeism.

SCOPE

This policy applies to all leaders of the organization regardless of their designation classification. This does not apply to absences covered by the Family, and Medical issues.

POLICY GUIDELINES/PROCESS

POLICY GUIDELINES

When unforeseen absence happens, such as during accidents or emergencies, the leader is expected to report the incident to his/her direct superior. For unplanned absences, leaders of the WeVysya are allowed no more than three (3) absences for a period of 12 months.

TARDINESS

Anything past fifteen (15) minutes is already considered tardy. If the leader is late for more than thirty (30) minutes, he/she will be considered absent.

ABSENCE DUE TO ILLNESS

If the leader fails to report to meetings/events due to illness, there is a need to notify his/her direct superior prior to the meeting/event and not post-meeting/event. Failure to notify may result in an unexcused absence, subject to disciplinary action.

If a leader cannot report to meetings for 2 to 3 times due to illness, then a statement from the physician is needed before he/she is permitted to go back to meetings.

HOUSE ATTENDANCE

Leaders must respect and follow house attendance policies to continue the primary membership of their business. If this misses House, PST has all rights to remove the leader by taking permission from State President/Global president.
